Karlyn’s Cottage has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with a pull out twin size bed. The smaller bedroom has a hot tub built into the room, There is a queen size sofa bed in the living room as well. Sheets and towels are provided.

cookout. Coffee pot and locally roasted coffee will be waiting for you when you arrive. There is cable TV, telephone, DVD and VCR player, high speed internet, washer/dryer, microwave, high chair, and a grill on a large deck with a view of Lake Superior.

The rate is $110.00 per night plus tax for up to four persons. Each additional person is $10.00. The cottage is a no pet, non-smoking facility. (Feel free to smoke outside, though!)
 

Attractions

Stoll downtown Washburn, enjoy our bookstore, museum, antique shops, galleries, taverns and restaurants. Stop by Karlyn’s Gallery and meet Karlyn and her staff.

We are located by ATV trails, and close to Mount Valhalla where you can hike, bike and ride numerous trails through the state forests. A public boat launch is only a few blocks away as well as beaches and parks for the whole family to enjoy. Take in a show at the newly built Stage North, featuring live music, live theater and movies.

The gateway to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Bayfield are located only 12 miles North. Golf courses with breath-taking scenic views of Lake Superior and Madeline Island, parks, hiking/biking trails, island cruises, the ferry boat to Madeline Island, sailing, sea kayaking, antique collecting, and shopping.

The Big Top Chautauqua is nearby, featuring well-known entertainers throughout the summer and into the fall.

Ashland is 12 miles East and features many fine restaurants, shopping, movies, golfing, hike or bike the Tri-county corridor, bowling, visit Northland college and see the old Ore dock before it’s too late!
