 At Karlyn’s Gallery, we are committed to the promotion of artists and to their development. We realize that after the expenses of art supplies and workshops, many artists leave their artwork unmatted and unframed because it can be cost-prohibitive. Matting not only protects the art, it accents the piece and gives the artist a feeling of accomplishment and completion. We offer affordable wholesale archival quality mats for artists to enhance their works of art. Every mat that we make is produced with acid-free and lignin-free matboard that meets the Library of Congress standards for preservation. 

Pre-Made Shopmats are quality mats at wholesale prices. The single Shopmats and tops of the double Shopmats come in eight shades of white. The inner mats are of the same white shades, black, or gold. Custom mats can be made with metallics, textures and a wide range and variety of colors. Shopmats include a foamboard backing and a clear plastic sleeve. If you cannot find the right color combinations or mat sizes, or if you need a different opening size than those offered as our Shopmats, we will custom make what you need and you will still get a quantity discount if you order five or more mats in the same color combination and size. Quantity price breaks for Custom mats at 5 (10% off), 10 (15% off), & 20+ (20% off). We can take your order over the phone or by email and ship them right to your door.
