This is where artists come to have their work photographed and printed, this is "Digital Archiving." We can now digitize your artwork and create any number of full color prints for you—right here in our gallery! Now you can have prints made of your valued paintings to sell, give away or archive! Our setup uses a digital camera to photograph your work, then transfer those images to the computer where we color correct and size for print. We can also print from your digital photo, just email it! Top of the line printers! We print full color laser prints on our new Canon imagePRESS C1 and full color Giclee prints using our Epson Stylus Professional 4800. Laser printsA high-resolution, up to 1200 dpi, print on 11”x17” 80lb matte archival cover stock. Other paper options and sizes available, especially for business cards, postcards and poster printing. We offer standard sizes which fit our wholesale mats, or specify a size to fit your needs. Archival information from Canon, "...our toner is carbon based and will surely surpass longevity tests. Carbon will degrade very slowly over time, especially compared with litho (offset) and giclee."
Giclee printsPrinted on Epson Textured Fine Art Paper (looks and feels like 140# Arches Watercolor Paper), canvas or photo paper. Your image can be printed at a maximum size of 17 inches by 50 feet for the textured fine art paper and canvas, 17" x 22" on photo paper. Sizes are generally made to fit our wholesale mats. Epson rated these prints to be archival for 82 years under glass, 160 years using UV filtered glass and 68 years not framed. For prints on canvas, we use a water based product called "Eco Print Shield" in Matte, Satin or Glossy to coat the printed surface. This non-yellowing coating will seal and protect your prints from moisture, ozone, ultraviolet light, atmospheric contaminates, abrasion and finger prints. Generally three coats are applied for a total charge of $6.00, I will add additional coats if necessary at no extra charge.
Prices Photography and color correction per piece is $8.00, extensive color correction will be billed at $8.00/quarter hour (this is rare). This is a necessary step for all laser and Giclee printing. Emailed images will be charged a pro-rated fee for color correction if necessary. We have no minimum order, but we do have quantity discounts! 10+ gets 10% off, 25+ gets 25% off, and 40+ gets 40% off. Quantities are based on one image printed as the same size on the same paper. For example: 10 pages for image#001 "Poppies" printed at 7"x7" (print wall#5) receives 10% off. In other words, you cannot combine different images and/or different sizes to qualify for the quantity discount. Laser prints are $2.00 per piece of paper, regardless of how many prints fit on a page. No set up fees. Please click here to refer to the Print Wall for standard print sizes.
